Porcelain painting, also known as china painting or overglaze painting, is a delicate and intricate art form that involves decorating ceramic surfaces, typically porcelain, with finely ground colored powders mixed with a medium.
After the colors are applied, the piece undergoes a firing process in a kiln. This firing not only sets the colors but also gives the porcelain its final finish.
What You'll Take Home:
Your own hand-painted porcelain masterpiece will be ready one week after the workshop date (needs to be fired in the kiln) If you cannot pick up your piece, we can mail it to you for a shipping fee.
