In Iranian culture, any flower with blood-red petals and a black center is often called laleh (tulip) or shaghayegh (poppy). In Persian literature, this flower symbolizes someone who has sacrificed their life for love. The black heart of the poppy represents sorrow and grief, likened to a "scar" borne from the separation and longing for a loved one. As Hafez beautifully expresses:
"O flower, you bore the scar of dawn yesterday,
We are the poppies born with a scar."
This vibrant floral collection is a reflection of the rich nature of Iran.
